Set Fido free to splash in the shallows right in front of this beach-front chalet in Seasalter. Sleeping four guests, the colourful, two-bedroom retreat, 3 miles from Whitstable, also has an enclosed, coastal garden that he will delight in. Let him savour the sunshine and sea air while you swing in the hammock and listen to the sound of the crashing waves.

Follow Fido into his new home from home to discover its eclectic interiors and colourful fixtures and fittings. Wander through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and watch his excitement when he catches sight of the sea and beach. Take in the views yourself, settle in front of the Smart TV or head over to the kitchen area to start preparing dinner for Fido, his family or friends. Dine together inside or out. Light a roaring fire in the wood burner on autumn or winter evenings or pull the doors to the garden back on summer days. Find him a corner to settle in for the night, then head off to your own bedrooms as night falls. These are situated down a narrow corridor and include a double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, and a twin. The vibrant family bathroom is also here and there is a mezzanine relaxation area accessed from the hall. Make the most of the opportunities for indoor/outdoor living afforded by this enticing and unique retreat. Let Fido roam about the enclosed space and sit under the stars beside you when you stoke up the firepit. There is private parking here for two cars.

Call Fido to join you as you set off on a 1.5-mile stretch of the Saxon Shore Way to fashionable Whitstable. Venture 10 miles to the fringes of the scenic Kent Downs to enjoy long walks across the verdant, rolling countryside.

A cosy, welcoming place in a great location for exploring north Kent. And if you're unlucky with the weather, a lovely safe place in which to enjoy a storm

This is a beautifully eccentric and charming chalet with a wonderful selection of quirky art and found objects. Seriously impressed by the design and planning that made effective use of every inch of space. It was both comfortable and well equipped, and ideal for dogs, with robust wooden plank floors that didnt make you wince every time a dog movedRead more! It was perfect for my sister and I plus dogs. Our generous welcome pack was very welcome, and the owner very helpful. Hide
