Share this delightful Cumbrian cottage with your favourite furry friend and make memories to hold onto forever. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom bolthole nestles in the village of Rowrah, 7 miles from Whitehaven and just under 2 miles from the fringes of the beautiful Lake District. Explore picturesque Ennerdale with your canine walking companion then return to relax together in the enclosed, dog-friendly garden.
Dry damp paws and remove your shoes in the porch then wander inside to find yourselves in the lounge. Light the wood burner here after bracing winter walks and watch your four-pawed pal flop down to enjoy its comforting heat. Pause yourselves to read a book, play a game or watch the Smart TV or head on through to the kitchen/diner to start thinking about dinner. Cleverly arranged to encompass everything you will need, there is space to rustle dishes up with fresh Lakeland produce and sit down to dine. Feed your patient pal here too and let him keep you company as you cook. The family bathroom is also downstairs. Have a refreshing shower or a long soak in the freestanding bath before bed then pat your pal goodnight and make your way up to the first floor, where your double and single bedrooms are positioned. Awake on summer mornings to have coffee out on the patio as you plan the dog-friendly adventures of the day. Parking for this cottage is on the street.
Head 4.5 miles from the property to picturesque Ennerdale Water, where you and your energetic chum can walk along the shores of the lake. Scenic Loweswater, 7.5 miles away, also has some great footpaths, some of which go through areas where your pal can run free. Venture 9 miles to St Bees to follow the first section of the Coast-to-Coast Walk.
