Leave paw prints on the golden stretches of the magnificent beach at Woolacombe when you stay at this exceptional holiday home in North Devon. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom abode is just 2 miles from the open sand where dogs are welcome all year round. In addition, your puppy pal will adore the enclosed garden, which has a lawn for him to wander about on while you bubble in the hot tub.

Return from mornings on the beach to brush sandy paws down and head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner together. Pull the bi-folding doors right back on summer days. Let your puppy pal recline on the rug while you find a film on the Smart TV. Call him over to the kitchen when it is time to serve him his next meal. This well-equipped space is laid out perfectly to help you cater for your party. There is even a breakfast bar where you can perch with a glass of wine while dinner cooks. Gather round the large table when it is time for the humans in your group to dine. Find a quiet corner for your canine to bed down in for the night, then climb the stairs to lay your head on your pillows. The bedrooms include two doubles and a twin. There is also a spacious bathroom where you can choose between a shower and a bath. Play fetch with your furry friend out in the garden on fine days. Relax together under the night skies as supper grills on the BBQ. There is parking here for one car.

Enjoy a 3-mile walk together out to the rocky headland of the National Trust’s Morte Point. Follow a section of the Tarka Trail together. This runs between Braunton and Barnstaple and is great for traffic-free dog walking.

Lovely well equipped cottage. My only grumbles are the downstairs area was always cold even when the heating was on and turned up. A few cobwebs had been missed when cleaning. Also cant open just one door on the bifold doors.

Not a great experience, standards were sloppy, several issues on arrival, TV in lounge is small, downstairs flush broken, fridge doesnt work properly, very little toilet roll on arrival, outside space covered in cobwebs, no BBQ despite online details stating there is a BBQ, when I called to enquire I got told it was removed because previous guests Read morehad not cleaned it properly and therefore BBQ no longer supplied, it felt like corners cut to save money - location is great, although very noisy/busy road outside the front door.
