Enjoy dog walks from your front door through the surrounding woodlands and parkland, before heading into the historic city of Lincoln (5 miles) to dine in one of the many paw-friendly pubs, cafes, or restaurants.
The large, redbrick holiday retreat has been beautifully decorated and furnished, with chic country cottage decor complementing the property's characterful original features. After a day of adventure, unwind in the gorgeous lounge, which has a choice of comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV. On cooler nights, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy dozing spot for the hounds. Rustle up feasts for the group in the stylish kitchen and come together for family celebrations in the separate dining room, where you'll find a large, wooden dining table to seat everyone. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room - ideal for storing muddy boots and dog-walking gear. Rounding off the ground floor is a bunk bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The first floor of the house is reached via two separate staircases, with the first staircase leading to a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The second staircase takes you to the remaining bedrooms - another king-size and two twin bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Outside, the enclosed garden is a real suntrap and features a patio area with furniture and a BBQ, along with a lawn area where the woofers can play. As well as the walking trails throughout the estate, guests also have access to a whole host of onsite facilities, including a farm shop, cafe, restaurant, padel courts, and cycle hire. The property is one of four holiday homes within the estate and has private parking for up to four cars.
Journey into Lincoln to wander amongst its cobbled streets and marvel at the stunning medieval architecture. On designated days, dogs are welcome to explore Lincoln Castle, and they are also allowed in the cathedral on a lead. The city has a fabulous array of independent shops and eateries, many of which welcome four-legged visitors. There are some gorgeous country parks in and around Lincoln for enjoying relaxing walks with your furry sidekicks. Highlights include Hartsholme Country Park and Boultham Park, both within 6 miles.
