Lovely house, well equipped with everything you need. Only issue for us was the incline that the house was on. At 70yo and living in a bungalow it was very hard on the legs. We didn't realise from the advert that this was the case.

We found the cottage to fulfil all our needs. It has a fantastic view over the estuary, is a relatively easy walk into the town, has very convenient parking, is well equipped and comfortable, in fact, the perfect location.. We would consider a return visit.

We had a lovely stay at Fernlea. The views from the living room and front bedrooms were very nice looking over the estuary. The house was well equipped with everything you could need. We would certainly stay again in future. Appledore is a great base. Enjoyed visiting Westwood Ho! and Bude too.

Lovely accommodation and stunning view. Great to have parking, and a garden. The village green was just a short walk away for dog walking. Appledore is such a friendly place with great pubs, crabbing and very dog friendly. The ferry to Instow is well worth doing. Id highly recommend the house and area. Hope to go back next summer.
