Lulu the Labrador is just as welcome as you are at this delightful retreat in Moffat. Sleeping four guests, the inviting, two-bedroom retreat is just 250 metres from the River Annan and the footpath that runs along its banks. Ideal for exploring southern Scotland together, this charming abode is also a gateway to the picturesque Moffat Hills.
Enter the welcoming home by taking Lulu under the stone arch with you. Leave your walking boots and her lead in the hall and climb the stairs to the first floor. The friendly lounge/diner has ample space for humans and hounds. Take a comfortable seat while she selects the rug. Listen to music via the Bluetooth speaker, play a board game or find your favourite programme on the Smart TV as Lulu dozes. The kitchen/diner is also located off the hall. This has been arranged to include everything you will need to cater for yourselves and has plenty of space for your pet. Feed her, prepare dinner for everyone else, then dine at the breakfast bar here or at the table in the main room. A king-size bedroom, with a window seat for taking in the town views, is also at this level, together with the family bathroom. A double is on the floor above. This room has its own Smart TV and captures vistas of the rolling hills. There is no outside space with this Scottish retreat, but Lulu will love the green, open space of Station Park, less than 500 metres away.
Head out of town and venture 10 miles to see the impressive Grey Mare’s Tail Waterfall and Loch Skeen, where Lulu can also enjoy a good stretch of her furry legs. The 7-mile Ring of St Mary's Loch walk, 15.5 miles away, is also very popular with dog walkers.
