There is no need to leave Rover behind when you book this inviting lodge near Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat not only has an enclosed garden that he will adore, but is also on the doorstep of some exceptional walks. From here, also venture out into the rolling Yorkshire Dales National Park to tire out furry feet.
Follow Rover’s fluffy tail up the steps onto the wooden deck of the lovely, timber-clad holiday home. Enter the lodge to find accommodation with a calming, contemporary style. The lounge has ample space for Rover to flop down and stretch his long legs out while you recline on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. Doors to the deck can be opened up whenever the weather is warm enough, or you can light the wood burner and let Rover laze in its cosy warmth. When his puppy eyes plead for dinner, take him through to the kitchen/diner. Here you will find everything you need for those occasions you cater for yourselves with your own ingredients. There is also a round, wooden dining table. As night arrives, take Rover to his bed and wander off to yours. At this lovely lodge, you have a double and a bunk bedroom. There is also a family bathroom. Enjoy the excellent outside space with Rover by your side. Cook on the BBQ in the wooden hut, where you can also enjoy a bottle of wine on rainy days. There is off-road parking for two cars.
Pups are welcome to join you as you explore the dramatic sculpture at Coldstones Cut, 4 miles away. You can also follow footpaths together and immerse yourselves in the beauty of the picturesque moorlands at the National Trust’s Brimham Rocks, 5.5 miles from the lodge.
