Arrive in puppy paradise when you stay at this detached Lake District cottage. Sitting centrally in its enclosed garden, the lawn is the perfect place for Bella to bound about to her heart’s content. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom holiday home is 2 miles from Ravenglass and is superb for exploring both picturesque Eskdale and the sweeping Cumbrian coast.
Dry damp paws after autumnal walks and head inside to warm yourselves. Stoke up the wood burner in the lounge and watch Bella rest her weary head on the soft rug. Switch on the TV or gaze out of the bay window to unwind a little. There is also a second lounge, with another TV, where you can savour some downtime together. Take Bella through to the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner to serve her the fresh Cumbrian cuts you have sourced on your excursions and to prepare the produce you have bought for everyone else. Congregate at the table as she wolfs hers at floor level. There is also a family shower room downstairs. Find her the pawfect spot to bed down for the night, then make your way up the stairs to your bedroom. Two doubles and a twin are up on the first floor, together with the family bathroom, which has a bath and a shower. Throw a ball for Bella out in the lawned garden, and dine out here as often as you can, as you take in the verdant views. There is off-road parking for two cars at this cottage.
Stroll 1 mile together to the long ridge of beautiful Muncaster Fell, with its wonderful views. Muncaster Castle, which is dog friendly, is the same distance away. Watch Bella leave paw prints in the sand as she races free on Ravenglass Beach, 2 miles away.
