Located in the peaceful village of Twitchen, this charming countryside cottage offers a warm welcome to families, groups of friends and their loyal companions. With space to stretch out across four beautiful bedrooms and a generous garden for both humans and hounds to enjoy, relax and recharge after roaming the wilds of Devon at this welcoming home away from home.

Step into the hallway of this stylish rural hideaway, and inside, a galley kitchen is waiting for post-walk cooking. The spacious open-plan lounge/diner is perfect for sociable evenings, with large windows boasting lovely countryside views and comfortable seating to sit back with your pup at your feet. Gather everyone around the elegant table for meals together, then settle into the lounge area with your favourite shows or a board game or two. At the end of the day, a twin bedroom and a king-size bedroom lie just off the main hallway, with two further doubles three steps up. Two contemporary bathrooms – one with a walk-in shower and one with a tub – provide plenty of space for rinsing off post-adventure. Outside, the enclosed, secluded garden awaits. Fire up the BBQ, gather around the fire pit, or sit back and stargaze with your tail-wagger snoozing nearby. Private parking on the drive means easy loading up.

Start your day with a ramble across Exmoor, with the ancient Tarr Steps beauty spot 9 miles away – a popular picnic and paddling location for two and four-legged visitors alike. For a day at the seaside, the dog-friendly sands of Saunton lie 22 miles away. Alternatively, head out to explore the cliffside trails of Lynton and Lynmouth (within 20 miles), home to the famous Valley of the Rocks and a Victorian cliff railway.

Booked for New years Eve for a small break with our parents. The Cottage had everything you could ask for the Kitchen had everything you needed. A great nights sleep really comfortable mattresses. If you are looking good for a great location with fantastic views this is the place.

Peaceful rural spot. Plenty of room for the family. We appreciated the welcome pack of local goodies. Low water pressure was a bit of an issue but didnt spoil our holiday.
