What an amazing period property in an ideal location, nestled between a pub and a hearing clinic, and right in the middle of the town. It was convenient for everything that Corbridge has to offer. The noise from the pub next door was minimal, just the smell of delicious food wafting over the garden wall. The house is quaint and quirky and ideal Read morefor a couple. It has an open staircase to the beamed ceiling in the bedroom. The bathroom is downstairs next to the kitchen. The little sunroom on the back is perfect for having a cuppa and watching the birds. While no private parking, there is plenty of street parking nearby, some with a cost, or some further away which is free. The garden was a proper sun trap and had some lovely furniture for relaxing. My only criticism of the garden is it needs a good tidy up; because of the weeds and overgrown brambles in some areas. The town centre has everything you need from local butchers and bakers etc to a Coop mini supermarket. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. The shops are more than enough for browsing and picking up some souvenirs and household items. We had a super pizza from the Fire & Dough pizza van on the Thursday and gorgeous pastries from Grants Bakery. Either chilling out in the town, or visiting nearby attractions, this is a great place to stay. Reply from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay!
