This attractive property is perfect for families and friends looking for an adventurous and relaxing holiday. The location offers easy access to some of the Peak District's most rewarding walks and heritage attractions. Enjoy wandering the Bugsworth Basin (2.5 miles), where cobbled towpaths trace the old canal or head further afield into the peaceful Goyt Valley (5.5 miles) with its woodland, moor and reservoir views.

Entering through the back door of this welcoming, contemporary, four-storey home-from-home, you'll step into the kitchen/diner with its bold feature wall and sleek white tiles. The decor and bright hues create an easy going ambience perfect for socialising. Serve up family favourites made in a kitchen with all the appliances needed to make meal preparation a breeze. Dine together in the stylish dining area and share stories. Upstairs on the first floor, with street-level access, are two living rooms; one is at the front of the house and offers a peaceful spot to unwind on the plush sofa and catch up with a box set on the Smart TV, and the second at the rear suits relaxed family evenings, with space to spread out and beanbags that children will love. A lovely peaceful place to stay convenient for what I needed. Comfy beds and adequate facilities. I would stay here again.

We were a party of three well travelled couples, we all agreed this cottage was a gem, tastefully decorated and very well equipt one of the best we have stayed in. Lay out conducive to facilitate good cooking, dining, relaxing and sleeping. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Good location, convenient home. Had no clean bedding or towels, dirty washing left from last booking. Response from Holiday Cottages: Thank you for your feedback, which we have been investigating. We are sorry you did not report this to us at the time so that the issue could be addressed.

Watch the stairs, otherwise brilliant place as advertised. 25 minutes from Manchester, 1 hour from Liverpool and minutes from the Peak District, Buxton etc. Really would go back and certainly recommend.
