Surrounded by over 300 acres of working farmland, this secluded, pet-friendly period farmhouse has been sympathetically updated to make a tranquil getaway for larger families and groups of friends. Set in the foothills of Cadair Idris, the characterful, beautifully furnished retreat is ideally positioned for exploring the magnificent southern corner of Eryri/Snowdonia National Park. Featuring a welcoming wood burner, flagstone flooring, timber beams and exposed brickwork, this stunning bolthole is a wonderfully peaceful base for walkers, nature spotters and cyclists. With ample space for eight guests, this tastefully decorated, rustic-tinged property also welcomes a four-legged friend to help you explore the nearby Celtic rainforest and swimming lake.

A flagstone-floored hallway welcomes you into this beautiful farmhouse, then through to the characterful lounge. With timber beams, stone tiling and sumptuous seating, this is a wonderful space to unwind in with your pet snoozing in front of the wood burner, which is set within a stunning inglenook. The ground floor also features a stylish, fully equipped kitchen alongside a beautiful traditional dining room. Upstairs, there’s a refreshing shower room and four cosy bedrooms: two pretty doubles and two cheerful en-suite king-size rooms. Outside, the enclosed garden has ample space for your dog to exercise as you enjoy a meal alfresco and admire the far-reaching views. The surrounding farmland offers peaceful walks, with streams, woodlands and a lake for wild swimming. Private parking is available for four cars, alongside storage space for bikes, paddleboards and canoes.

A beautiful home in breathtaking surroundings for a peaceful break in nature. Our hosts were very accommodating of, and responsive to the few queries we had in the first day of our stay.
