Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, a stick’s throw from Hunstanton’s gloriously golden sands, this coastal cottage is perfectly placed for couples and families to explore the wonderful tracks, trails and scenery of west Norfolk.

The spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner leading off the entrance hallway features a delightful quintessentially coastal colour palette and charming nautical touches that’ll set tails wagging. Tuck your tufty-pawed pal into their special blanket before unwinding weary walking muscles on the welcoming sofa or whipping up some tasty treats in the sleek and sophisticated kitchen; the wood burner and underfloor heating will keep toes and paws toasty long into the evening. When it's finally time to pause from chasing your tail, the double and twin bedrooms offer a haven of tranquillity to retreat to at the end of a busy day’s exploration. Outside, the decked veranda is the perfect place for little paws to soak up some sunshine as you enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. Leading down from the veranda, playful pups can roam to their heart's content in the enclosed lower garden, which features a lawn, summer house and cabin. There is private parking for one car and additional unallocated on-street parking.

Your canine companion will go mutts exploring the lively seaside town of Hunstanton, which offers everything you’d expect to find at a traditional seaside resort, from crazy golf to the Esplanade Gardens. Scamper through the dunes to the waves licking the shoreline of Old Hunstanton Beach, just under 2 miles away, before strolling along the promenade to the shoreline of the neighbouring seaside town of Heacham, 3 miles away. Those with a nose for nature can enjoy plenty of exciting new smells at the peaceful bird watcher’s paradise of the RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, both reached within 7 miles.

Excellent beautiful cottage in a quiet location. Car park is very small, had a small car no issue for me but could be if you have bigger car. The second bedroom leads into the garden and we had dogs so we wanted it open at all times, just a heads up for people that might want the privacy but be in the garden as you'll have to go through the second Read morebedroom Hide

We arrived to a clean and well maintained property. There was a welcome pack of goodies which even included treats for the pooches. As we were staying over the Christmas holidays there was the added touch of decorations and lights which added to the homely feel of the property. The property was well equiped with high end appliances and the owners hRead moread thought of everything even down to covers for the furniture (for dog owners). From the moment we arrived, we never drove again until we left, as the property was a 5 minute walk to the beach, town and supermarket. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. We had a great stay even though we were there during storm Claudia! The bungalow is well appointed and has been modernised nicely. Ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway.

The cottage is tastefully decorated and has all equipment necessary for a comfortable stay. The decking area outside enabled us to enjoy sunshine in Octobera rare thing! Good location within easy walking distance of Hunstanton beach, a Tescos and within 30 minutes walk of Old Hunstanton beach which is truly amazing. The main bedroom only has a stanRead moredard double bed and we found it very soft and small. If one item of furniture was taken out, it could easily take a larger bed. Similar to a previous review, we found no welcome food or personal contact number note at all. ( only the booking agents number which was not available 24/7 ) In all the years we have had UK breaks, this is a first. Lots of tins for example bread, treats, coffee, tea etc but nothing in them which did nothing to help the lack of some sort of welcome basket. It wasnt cheap to stay here so really there is no excuse. It was our anniversary and to have had something would have been nice. We would recommend this property but please take the above into consideration as it did spoil it a little for us. Hopefully the owner will rectify this upon a second mention. Hide

A well maintained property, with a good selection of kitchen utensils, a variety of books, games and jigsaws. The outside area off the second bedroom is a serious sun trap, and ideal for relaxing. The property is only a short walk to the seafront, a pub and tescos. It is also only around a 10-15 walk into the centre of Hunstanton, ideal to avoid thRead moree car parking charges. While the main rooms and thoroughfares of the property were clean, there was a fair bit of dust and cobwebs around the sides of some of the furniture, and while towels, handwash and toilet roll was provided, there was not sufficient for a weeks stay, so I would recommend bringing your own with you. The off street parking is very tight for an average sized car, and being situated at the end of a busy cul-di-sac, could cause issues for some, however when we were there, there was on street parking available further along the road. This property is really ideally suited for a couple, as the second bedroom leads directly onto the outdoor seating area, lacks storage ( I think the wardrobe is within the main bedroom) and the single bed is (or felt) quite small. I had requested this be made into a double for our stay, as it is an option on the booking form, however unfortunately this had not been done for us. Overall, this property suited our needs for the week, as did the weather. Hide

The property is at the end of a narrow, curved road. All residents, that have to park on the road, have to park on the same side of the road. Driving to and from the property, it is impossible to see if any car is coming, very slowly, in the opposite direction. One of you has to reverse, it is just wide enough for a car but narrow and curved. TheRead more location is very good for the old beach, just 5 mins. in the car, for Tescos, the front and everything really. We found it very dog friendly. The main bedroom was good, the small bedroom reasonable, the bed being, good for comfort, for a week. Clothes hanging space being in the second wardrobe in the main bedroom. The quality of the main living/kitchen/dinning area is excellent. The dinning chairs are a little light weight and have a bar at ground level which prevents you shuffling your chair to get seated at the table. Hide

Cottage was in great location close to Hunstanton beach. It had a lovely secure garden for the dogs and a brilliant sun deck. The larger cabin had a seized lock so we couldnt access it. However, there were some things that needed attention as you would expect for a highly rated and priced premises. Really disappointed there was no welcome pack Read morefor us or the dogs. Also some repairs were required in the bathroom. Leaving this unfixed with a notice is not acceptable. Generally the kitchen was well equipped but there needed to be some smaller tea plates. There was also no washing up liquid and limited toilet roll. The off road parking was tight for an average sized family car. Although the location was brilliant I am afraid I would not stay in this premises again. Response from holidaycottges.co.uk: Thank you for your review.
