Set amongst the trees of a beautiful family-owned fruit orchard just outside the pretty coastal village of Burnham Overy Staithe, this quaint shepherd’s hut offers couples the perfect base to explore the North Norfolk coast with their four-legged third wheel.
The charming country cottage-style decor throughout the open-plan layout of this cosy shepherd’s hut will certainly set tails wagging. Your canine companion won’t be able to resist snoozing beside the wood burner whilst you unwind by the handy fold-down dining table. Enjoying wonderful views, the compact kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up some tasty treats. Wash off a long day on the local trails in the shower room before retiring to the crisp, white linens of the double bed tucked away in a secluded spot to one side of the hut. Outside, little paws can soak up some sunshine as you dine alfresco at the quaint outdoor dining set in the open seating area. Please note that as the hut is located within an orchard that is not enclosed, all dogs must be kept on leads for safety. There is private parking for two cars.
This secluded spot is just 1.5 miles from the coast and Burnham Overy village, which boasts plenty of exciting new smells for your pup to enjoy walking the harbour and unspoilt salt marshes. Treat your canine companion to an afternoon of bounding along the soft golden sand of Burnham Overy Staithe Beach, 2 miles away, licked by crystal clear water and perfect for practising the doggy paddle. Take the lead to the vibrant village of Burnham Market 1.5 miles away, which offers a village-style green surrounded by striking Georgian buildings and a wide selection of independent shops and cafes to discover with your canine companion in tow.
