Cottage was lovely. Parking difficult in front of the house - there was never any usable space. Luckily the space by the castle was there.

We had an amazing break in glorious weather in this stunning friendly town. The position and beauty of the house is perfect right in the hub of the castle and market but still peaceful. The equipment and decor is at the more basic end compared to other properties we have stayed in and with electric stoves rather than woodburners perhaps not as cRead moreosy as might be hoped for in winter. No problem this week as it was 28C. The garden is a quiet haven and the house stayed cool. Having a guaranteed parking spot is a definite plus point and is really close by at the castle. Hide

Nice character cottage with fully enclosed garden. Very good location. Parking at the front only works with a small car - reserved parking space at the castle is better and near by.

The house is clean, comfy and well equipped. We had no problem parking outside the house during our weeks stay. If there had been a problem the allocated car spot at the Castle is only a few minutes walk away as is the town centre, where there is a market most days and plenty of shops to browse. Croissants and pain au chocolate from the Spar's 'cakRead moree' cabinet are exceptional. The Chapter 66 cafe has very good lunches and is worth a visit. Blue Boar and Castle Inn are both recommended for dinner. We would return to Dinham very happily, Next time I hope it will be warm enough to sit out in the very pleasant garden. Hide

Loved our stay in this fantastic property. Its a beautiful building, super comfortable and kitted out so well. Its location is perfect for the town centre. We managed to park outside the property for the week we were there, which was nice. We love Ludlow and would stay in this property again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location for a stay in Ludlow. A beautiful town house with the feel of the countryside. House is well furnished and spacious. Another fantastic break in this wonderful house situated so conveniently for a short stroll into the main square and with the most beautiful walks and scenery right on the doorstep. Situated in a very peaceful street surrounded by gorgeous houses and yet still so quiet! It is obvious a lot of thought has gone into making guests comfort a priorityRead more and the generosity of the lovely welcome basket and all the extra touches provided like extra throws, Christmas decorations, constant heating and hot water and the ethical hand soap and cleaning products etc . The cleanliness is outstanding. It really is the cleanest place we have ever stayed in and it was our third time here and has been the same each time. Walking through the front door is like coming home to a big comforting hug! Hide

Great location, very short walk to the markets and shops but tucked away enough to be peaceful and private. The property was bigger than we expected from the pictures and really comfortable and well equipped. The garden is large and enclosed so was great for our 2 little dogs! Generous welcome basket was much appreciated. Would definitely return!

We arrived to a warm, exceptionally clean and comfortable house with a generous hamper of locally produced or sourced tasty things and wine to welcome us in and get our holiday off to a lovely start. It was great to see the enclosed garden full of autumn colour. This was our second stay and we felt the same relaxing vibe wed had on our first stay. Read moreA special mention for the comfort of the beds - Bliss! Although just off the main square of the town the area is so quiet and peaceful and the house is perfectly located a few minutes walk on a quite road with the castle gardens to stroll through to where the market stalls are and there are a great selection of cafes, interesting shops and beautiful buildings. Lots of little streets surround the square to explore and they all lead somewhere interesting and beautiful. There really is a shop for everything you could need in Ludlow and they all are in such historic buildings. We found the owners and staff very helpful and friendly. Just a few hundred feet away from the house is the bridge over the river and fantastic walks with gorgeous views and a lovely cafe/restaurant called CSons right on the bank with excellent views. We were lucky enough to see kingfishers a few times on the river and hedgehogs bumbling around the town at night when we walked our dogs. Dogs are very welcome in most places in town. To be so close to the Castle its history and the walks around the perimeter was a real privilege. We had no trouble parking outside the house and didnt need to use the allocated space by the castle. The owner was very responsive which is reassuring. We love this place so much we are coming back again for New Year and look forward to seeing the beautiful town of Ludlow all lit up in its classy Christmas lights and decorations. Hide
