Making a perfect getaway for couples and smaller families, this delightful cottage is perfect for discovering both the glorious south-western corner of the Yorkshire Dales and the magical northern fringe of the Forest of Bowland. The property enjoys beautiful far-reaching views and lies in a convenient spot near the centre of Settle, a popular town with a fantastic variety of pubs, restaurants and independent shops. Lying beneath the ancient limestone Castleberg Crag, the town is also home to the Museum of North Craven Life and the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway. This stunning part of the Yorkshire Dales offers miles of glorious walks, with an array of fascinating local landmarks to explore, including Scaleber Force Waterfall, Warrendale Knots, Victoria Cave and Plantlife Winskill Stones Nature Reserve, all within 3 miles. Further east you can visit Malham Cove (7 miles) before heading to the vibrant market town of Skipton (16 miles).

This welcoming hideaway features a colourful and inviting lounge with a roaring wood burner in a brick surround, alongside a TV and plenty of comfortable seating. Heading through, you will find the sociable kitchen/diner with ample equipment, plenty of storage space and a central dining table. Heading upstairs, the first floor offers a stylish bathroom and the first of the cottage’s two cosy bedrooms: a sweet and characterfully furnished double room. The final bedroom is a light and airy family bedroom; set on the second floor of the property, it features wooden beams, far-reaching views, a king-size bed and a handy additional child’s daybed.

Stepping outside, there’s a delightful raised decked area with plenty of seating, offering a lovely spot for you all to sit out and take in the charming views as you dine alfresco. Steps then lead down into the large garden, with further seating and an array of wild flowers. Parking is available on-street.
