On the first floor, the open-plan kitchen/diner is perfect for no-fuss large-party catering and mealtimes. Adjacent, the lounge is equally inviting with soft seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner. On the second floor, high ceilings and exposed beams – some over 250 years old – evoke the heritage of the property. Here you will find the fifth bedroom, a double, and a bathroom. A games room across the courtyard is complete with a pool table and table football. The courtyard also features a raised patio area with dining furniture and a charcoal BBQ, plus parking for six cars and an EV charger (at no additional cost).
Enjoy walkies from your doorstep – the Litton Loop is a lovely circular route direct from the door which takes in the Cressbrook Dale, Litton Edge and a few cafes and pubs along the way. Further afield, the High Peak Trail (10 miles), Monsal Trail (8 miles) and Tissington Trail (13 miles) are all fantastic too. Visit Bakewell – birthplace of the famous pudding – 8 miles away, or the spa town of Buxton (9 miles), famed for its elegant architecture, Pavilion Gardens and Opera House.
