Amazing location, but the cleanliness was substandard and it was tired inside.

The cottage is in a great place and has parking nearby by. It does have steps to the cottage and is not accessible for people with mobility issues. The cottage has everything you need for a short stay. Beds are comfy and towels are plentiful. It does need some modernisation and is dated, but this doesnt affect the stay. There is a shower that doesnRead moret work, but you can have a bath if you space them out due to hot water availability. The TV does work if it is the only device attached to the wifi, for all other devices search for EE wifi to buy. The cottage is dog friendly which is a bonus. Hide

We loved our Xmas stay in this cottage. So cosy and warm .The location is stunning and we enjoyed visiting the local pub and eateries. Very close to Whitby and Robin hoods bay so we were able to explore .Live TV was problematic for those who may like to relax in the evening . We didnt sit in the outdoor space due to the weather , but the garden wRead moreas delightful and in the warmer weather would be ideal. Dog friendly but we took our own blankets to protect the furniture .The secure garden ensured our little dogs did not escape ! The beds were so comfortable and bed linen beautiful and we all slept well. We appreciated the welcome pack and the little bottle of milk so were able to enjoy a hot drink before unpacking Thank you so much. . Hide

Fabulous cottage. Such a peaceful location on the side of a beautiful valley. Weve stayed in a number of cottages in Sandsend over the past few years and this is by far the biggest and most roomy. The outside cabin was an amazing surprise.

This is a nice cottage in a stunning location, however it needs a lot of attention to make it the perfect holiday destination. Inside it is tired and in need of a deep clean. The television does not work and the WiFi is poor. In bad weather there are few options for entertainment.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was clean and had everything you'd reasonably expect. We used the fab covered dining area in the garden most evenings. Our daughter loved the bunk bed, which is well-made. We had no problems with parking. It's a short walk to the lovely beach. The coffee machine is a Lavazza A Modo Mio; pods are sold at Sainsbury'sRead more (but not Lidl or Aldi). The broadband was functional, but couldn't handle multiple devices. Consider pre-downloading if you plan to stream a lot. Hide

We have stayed in this lovely cottage twice now and would definitely go back again. The cottage is in a lovely location. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. Even though some of the stuff could do with updating. And could do with redecorating.

The cottage is in a wonderful location, in a lovely valley only a short walk from a few places to eat and great walks along the coastline. Certain parts of the cottage do however need a refurb, especially when compared to similarly priced places. The cottage was also unfortunately less clean than we hoped on arrival, mainly from previous guests witRead moreh dogs. The lounge is very comfortable and cosy. Hide
