Positioned close to the quay in the charming, coastal town of Blakeney, this delightful Grade-II listed cottage is in the ideal location for families, friends and their canine companions to explore the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The views of the estuary, salt marshes and sea will tempt you outside for walks, where you’re likely to see some interesting wildlife. There are also shops to browse and an array of pubs/cafes to discover on your doorstep. Blakeney’s central location offers easy access to the rest of the North Norfolk Coast AONB.

Brimming with original features, this cottage is traditional and charming, yet light and neutral decor makes it feel bright and airy. With two lounges, you’ll have a choice of where to snuggle up of an evening, whilst the country-cottage kitchen/diner is the ideal place to rustle up some treats. On the first floor, there are two pretty double bedrooms, a further single room (with pull-out bed) and a bathroom. A third double room and en-suite can be found up a separate staircase. Outside, you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the south-facing courtyard garden, whilst enjoying the views.

Sitting within the Norfolk Coast AONB, Blakeney National Nature Reserve is home to a variety of migratory birds and has its own seal colony; boat trips from Morston Quay (2 miles) can take you out to see these wonderful creatures. The scenery and wildlife can also be admired from the 45-mile long Norfolk Coast Path, which connects Holme-Next-the-Sea (23 miles) to the town of Cromer (13 miles), which is famous for its crabbing, historic pier and sandy beach. There are plenty of other seaside towns/villages to visit along the way. Please note: in some places, there may be restrictions on dogs due to nesting birds.
