With an array of dramatic cliffs, beautiful coves, hidden bays and glorious sandy beaches to visit all within 5 miles, this really makes the ideal base for walking and nature enthusiasts of all kinds.

The barn has been converted to blend traditional features such as original beams and an open fire with crisp modern furnishings, offering a warm and welcoming feel throughout. The laminate flooring downstairs is ideal for any muddy paws that may escape a towelling off after morning walkies! Snuggle up together in the dual aspect open-plan lounge/dining room in front of the roaring open fire on those chillier winter nights. Patio doors from this room lead out into the pretty garden where you can sit and relax, watching your four-legged friend chasing sticks and having a fantastic time! The location of this property provides so many fantastic opportunities to explore one of the UK’s most magnificent coastlines. The Jurassic Coast lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides miles of coast path for you and your waggy-tailed friend to discover. Lulworth Cove (4 miles) is a spectacular secluded pebble beach offering some fantastic walking opportunities and is the ideal spot for dipping a paw or two in its clear blue waters. Durdle Door (3 miles) is a beautiful limestone arch that has been formed by the power of the waves eroding the cliff. This is the 5th year that we have stayed at Middle Barn. Again, we have had a wonderful and relaxed stay. The cottage is a home from home in a beautiful setting. The location is quiet but within easy reach of places to visit. We will definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay. The location is so peaceful and ideally suited to explore the many great attractions of Dorset. Beds extremely comfortable and blackout blinds in bedrooms were perfect! Car parking was no problem - our large S-max was fine in the allocated parking space. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Just had our 6th holiday in the cottage, it feels like we're home each time we arrive. Great location, surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of places to visit along the coast from Bournemouth to Lyme Regis, will be back again next year.

Lovely stay in this well located cottage. Generally had everything we needed and felt very homely. Nice to be able to walk to the village shop and local farm shop. Great starting point for cycling (and useful to have the garage to store the bikes) and within easy reach of Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove.

Just returned home from a fantastic 3 night stay. We all found the house to be very charming, and comfortable. It was spotless and very well equipped in the kitchen. We found the location to be perfect for our trips to Bovington tank museum, monkey world, and 2 trips to Lulworth cove. Our 3 teens and 2 dogs all had a great time, and the comfort of Read morean open fire was perfect for the adults. We would definitely come back and would also recommend to others. Hide

Great location and great cottage. Only downside- the house is described as dog friendly, and though the garden is enclosed and fab, the house has laminate floors throughout the downstairs. Anyone with dogs will confirm laminate floors are not dog friendly and are very slippery/unsafe. Would have been helpful to know this in advance.

Location, rooms and garden all good in a nice village with bus stops. Places including Weymouth, Wareham and Studland beaches all within easy reach by car & bus. Our 2 small dogs loved the garden and the weather was really good for us to sit out on the patio. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday .
