Good value for the money as the cottage was cheaper than many - rather dark and cold and with a damp feel in rooms we didn't heat with the electric fires. It did feel cooler inside than out even though the weather was not good for most of the week. Equipment and cleanliness good. We enjoyed the situation in the centre of the village.

Clean and spacious, though the lounge can only sit 6 comfortably, the dining room is spacious enough for eating and games. Super location in a quiet part of Cumbria that is less touristy than the usual Windemere to Keswick areas. Lovely golf course at Maryport, great beach for dog walks, only 35 minutes to Keswick and easy access to many of the mouRead morentains and walking routes. Hide
