Perfectly positioned with far-reaching views of the harbour and beyond, escape to this comfortable home-from-home for a taste of coastal living. A trip to the seaside wouldn’t be complete without your four-legged friend by your side, so bring your canine along for a family trip to remember and hunt down some of the best stick chasing spots in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Comfort and style invite you to settle down and relax after days spent adventuring.

Cleverly designed with the heart of the home on the top of three floors, enjoy wonderful views across the water as you sip a mug of something warm. The open-plan living space is decorated in tranquil colours of the coast and steps out onto a balcony. With room on the balcony for two to sit comfortably, nibble a morning pastry and breathe in the fresh sea air when you rise and shine to kick start the day. Tasty treats can easily be rustled up in the kitchen as hungry noses sniff the air and the TV flickers in the background. When weary heads need a rest, descend to the first floor where the three delightful bedrooms are located. Soak in the bath before closing your eyes and drifting off to dream or freshen up in the en-suite shower room if you are lucky enough to secure the master room! There is a shared courtyard to the front of the building and a private carport to make loading and unloading an easy task.

With plenty of exciting adventures nearby, explore both country and coast and chase waves, sticks and sunsets to your heart's content. Set sail from Seahouses Harbour and head to the Farne Islands to discover the abundance of wildlife and natural beauty. Travel 3.5 miles to Bamburgh Castle for a dose of history and years gone by.

A lovely part of the world but as previous guests have stated the property is in dire need of some TLC. The furniture in both the double rooms is so bulky it dwarfs the beds and the living/dining furniture also inappropriately cumbersome. Fantastic location with great views. Well equipped cottage and we have returned to this property. This time we thought that a little freshening up and TLC might be needed for next season. The cottage is ideally situated for travelling around Northumberland. There are lovely views from the lounge windows over towards Bamburgh and the Farne Islands. A trip to the Farne Islands is highly recommended - we used Serenity Boat Trips, which were great. The cottage is comfortable and generally well-equipped.
