This gem of a property studded on the North Norfolk coastline offers a warm welcome to families, especially the waggy-tailed members. It sleeps six humans and two hounds in complete comfort with the added bonus of a roaring wood burner, a large garden and easy access to a plethora of walking trails. Blakeney Point is a short 0.5-mile walk away where you can sniff out adventure away from the ground-nesting birds by following the coast path and venturing to Cley Beach 2 miles away.

Spacious and comfortable with high ceilings, stone floors and contemporary decor, your abode is a treat for the senses. Whether you are rustling up hearty meals for your entire pack or putting the kettle on for a quick brew, the kitchen/diner is a welcoming hub with its electric ‘Rangemaster’ oven, dining table and country-cottage appeal. Move through to the lounge and let sleeping dogs lie by the wood burner, select a book from the shelves and settle down to read. The garden is safely enclosed for your pup to play safely, and they’ll love begging for morsels whilst you enjoy al fresco meals at the picnic bench.

Known for its abundance of birdlife and thriving seal colony, the safest way to admire the wildlife with Fido in tow is via a sea safari. Brancaster Beach 18.5 miles away is pup-friendly 365 days of the year, and its golden sandy shoreline is a delight for frolicking in the waves and padding along the shoreline, and Wells/Holkham have several canine compatible beach areas too 11 miles away. You can also visit the cafes, shops and restaurants in Wells-next-the-Sea 8.5 miles away.

Really enjoyed our stay at Samphire Cottage. Was a great location and easy walking distance into Blakeney with its pubs, cafes, arty shops and great walks. We have three very active boys and two dogs and we felt very comfortable in the house. It was well equipped and homely. We've already booked to come back!

We had a wonderful time at this very clean and modern bungalow, in a secluded location. It is exactly as advertised, no surprises; or rather, only pleasant ones such as the lovely Christmas tree in the living room and excellent heating, amongst other things.

This is a convenient cottage for visiting Blakeney and surrounding area. Parking can be tricky if using two cars. The heating system is very good - we were cosy. We don't cook on holiday but the toaster worked well... There are about 400 books for reading on a rainy afternoon but the weather was very good for us.

Absolutely loved spending a week in samphire! I was able to access in and around house which was brilliant..although bathroom wasn't as easy but I'm lucky to be able to stand/move so was much of a problem for me. Getting out to garden would be a problem If you are wheelchair user but didn't worry me as weather wasn't summer!..must say our dog spentRead more hours out there, just chilling on grass! House was so lovely and warm, clean and well equipped. Location was great too, blakeney is beautiful. Hide

The property is very well appointed, plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Lounge and dining area very comfortable. Location is good for walking to the quay. Downside - massive tree in neighbours garden sucks any sun from the garden by early afternoon. There is only a pub type bench to sit at.
