Designed in the style of a shepherd’s hut, with plenty of room for your whole pack to spread out, this appealing property sleeps two guests and one four-pawed pal amongst cosy and characterful decor. Put your best paw forward and head out on a walking adventure each day, exploring the tail-wagging village of Levens (3.5 miles) and fabulous Windermere just a short distance away (8.5 miles).

On arrival, you’ll first notice a lovely patio space with outdoor seating. This area is unenclosed, so if you choose to sit outside and sip a drink, you should keep one eye on your beloved pup. Moving indoors, the whole space is spread out over a single storey, allowing your pooch to relax with both of their masters close by. Settle into an evening in front of the Smart TV in the lounge, choosing a cosy spot to sit and unwind with Rover curled up at your feet. You can leave your sleeping dog to rest right here as you venture to bed, finding the double bedroom just down the hall. The shower room completes the interior, and guests can also benefit from ample private parking.

Discover a new leash of life as you explore the beauty of The Lakes, taking tennis balls and doggie treats everywhere from Whitbarrow Forest (2 miles) up to Lake Windermere (6.5 miles). The lake presents endless opportunities for canine-compatible activities, including boat trips on the water and long walks along the banks of the lake. Your nearest village, Levens, is a stunning spot to tour on a sunny afternoon, with Levens Hall (4.5 miles) providing plenty of beautiful space to let Rover run.

The orchard lodge was beautiful & immaculate with everything you could possibly need. Its a stunning location with views of the mountains in the distance and the countryside around it. Great location to easily get to Windermere/Grasmere/Kendal/Keswick etc. We will definitely return again. X

Beautiful location and lovely cottage! Perfect for those looking for a quiet get away. You do have to drive to go anywhere which we didn't mind at all because the upside to that is quietness of the place, and the fact you really feel its just the two of you surrounded by nature.

Absolutely breathtaking panoramic views, the sun rises to the right of the cottage patio above the hills and sets to the left behind the field. Could not get energy enough. The cottage was well stocked with anything you could need and has the facilities for you to cook meals, which was really convenient. Everything is pretty much a drive away but tRead morehe grounds around were stunning, I do wish there was a guide on where you can go walking tho, as we had the dog so were apprehensive. Hide
