Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this cosy and tastefully furnished holiday cottage is an ideal base for exploring the coast and country of Norfolk. Sleeping five across three bedrooms and with two contented companions also welcome, the holiday home is ideally located for making memories with the whole family.

Exuding character all the way through, step into this cosy cottage and make your way through to the generously-spaced living room. A glowing wood burner will warm toes and paws as you settle down into pillowy sofas whilst streaming a movie on the Smart TV. Self-catering won’t be a problem in the well-equipped kitchen, while the dining room presents plenty of space for hearty feasts and superb suppers. Continuing on the ground floor, a pretty king-size bedroom with ample storage space and a family bathroom is ideal for those needing extra privacy. Up the cottage-style stairs, the king-size bedroom has a fabulous Jack and Jill style en-suite, whilst down the hall, a single bedroom makes an inviting space and can be turned into a double upon request. The enclosed outdoor area to the side of the house is perfect for basking hounds, and al fresco drinks.

Despite occupying a peaceful location, you’re only half a mile from the quiet shingle beach of Weybourne, which stretches all the way to Blakeney Point. Home to England’s largest grey seal colony, this National Nature Reserve boasts spectacular wildlife and uninterrupted views of jaw-dropping coastline. For a more traditional day at the seaside, tails will be wagging at the facilities of Cromer, where freshly caught seafood is served up in abundance, and amusements and crazy golf will keep you entertained for hours.

Ideal cottage to see local attractions, clean, well furnished and everything works. Access a bit scary with a car because of the busy road & stairs are a bit difficult to climb. But I would recommend the cottage for a restful holiday in a great position.

This is a glorious part of the country to visit and the cottage is perfectly located for exploring. The cottage itself is pretty spacious and full of light downstairs with a lovely large kitchen dining area and a very comfortable lounge. The beds are good, but could do with new mattresses. It is very well equipped with everything you need for your Read morestay. Although next to the pub and on a main road there is little noise at night. As the details state there is no outside space except for the drive, which itself is quite narrow. I have limited mobility and was with my daughter and granddaughter and it was tight getting us all in and out the car. I can recommend Alis cafe across the road where everyone is very welcoming and also the Ship Inn where the food is fabulous. This is a very comfortable and relaxing cottage in a lovely village. Hide

We found the property ideal for our weekend break. Close to Cley for birdwatching, a short walk to the beach and very close to the excellent pub and cafe. The cottage was spacious and comfortable.

We have been holidaying in Norfolk for many years & Hammond Cottage is the best so far. Brilliant location, well equipped, roomy & exceptionally clean & its the first time in ages that weve had a welcome pack so well done we will return.

Cottage was great for location, near the beach & pub. Only concern was that it was right on a busy main road. There was no garden to sit in which was a shame as we had a nice bit of weather.

lovely comfy well equipped cottage in a great location for exploring the coastline especially if, like us, you have a bus pass with the bus stop nearby. Good shop/cafe just across the road. This was by far the best holiday we've had in this country. The cottage was lovely and in a fantastic location. The pub next door was brillant and the beach in walking distance. We went for a beach walk every evening with our family and our dog. We would definitely recommend the cottage to others and go back for another holiday.

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Location lovely for exploring the local area and further afield (like Holt, Sheringham and Cromer). Steep twisty stairs to 2nd floor bedroom as described, but no issue for the able bodied. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.
