Ideal family accommodation. Three generations staying at Pinewood House to celebrate a big birthday. There was plenty of space and seating. Bedrooms were very suitable for everyone. Nice garden space, well enclosed which meant the dog was safe. There was a good provision of handwash, washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls. People shouRead moreld remember to bring some of their own as well. The designated parking was a bonus and finding spaces during May half term was a bit tricky when we had 3 cars between the group but not the end of the world. We were blessed with great weather and didn't spend too much time in the house. The location is fantastic for the town and the lake. Hide

This was the third time we've stayed at Pinewood. It's very suitable for our needs as a multi-generational family and friends group. It's a house we've grown rather fond of. The location is great. The house is well-equipped and comfortable. The little games room is great for those needing a bit of quiet time. Parking, though at first sight problRead moreematic, never proved to be a big issue. We had several cars and always managed to find a space on Stanger street, though not always right near the house. Hide

On the whole we enjoyed our stay, the layout of the house worked well for us despite the lack of heating on the top floor, and the neighbour knocking to tell me granddaughter to stop playing the piano at 6.45pm, would we stay again I don't think so.

Pros , Great location, very spacious. Showers were great, kitchen well equipped. Car park space was good and it wasnt too bad getting parked on road. Good to have an enclosed garden. Lovely old house. Decor and furnishings a bit tired and hotch potch but was well equipped, clean and comfortable except that there was nowhere to put clothes except on coat hooks on bedroom walls and very small bedside drawers, no wardrobes or clothes cupboards anywhere. This was our 4th stay at Pinewoods. The location is perfect and offers good value for money. The property does look a little 'tired' and is not the cleanest place we have stayed in. We will stay again....will just overlook the issues highlighted.

Fantastic location and no problem finding a second parking space visible from the house in spite of it being a busy bank holiday weekend. The house is lived in rather than perfectly finished which suited us with grandchildren aged five to sixteen. All of us enjoyed the table football - what a bonus!

Our family has used the house for several annual weekend get togethers. For us, its just perfect. Its not too posh or plush so you dont have to worry all the time about things. Its central position is great - a couple of minutes to the centre of Keswick. Andalthough its centrally situated its so peaceful and quiet. Lovely and quiet at night. ParkinRead moreg is good too. Its not often there isnt a space in Stanger Street. We love the big Lakes OS map on the hall wall. Hard to beat! Hide
