Situated in Beadnell, this property is in a great location for your next family holiday. The beach at Beadnell Bay offers up an array of water sports, including kitesurfing, diving and bodyboarding, and even welcomes dogs out of the bird breeding seasons. For the more historically-minded, spend a day or two exploring the castles in the nearby villages of Bamburgh (6 miles) and Alnwick (11.5 miles).

This charming bungalow has ground-floor bedrooms for people with limited mobility, plus a large conservatory to enjoy your morning coffee in. Large windows create a light and airy feel throughout this contemporary-style property. There is a patio to the rear of the property with an outdoor seating area. On a warm summer's day, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea and a good book, or an evening glass of wine while reminiscing about the day's adventure. In the conservatory, there is a TV. Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms, with two further bedrooms, a double and a twin, situated on the ground floor.

The popular village of Beadnell has everything you’d need, from seaside activities to local shops and eateries. There is also a village pub that welcomes your four-legged friends to enjoy a drink with you. The harbour is a great location to tuck into a portion of fish and chips and watch the boats coming and going. Bamburgh Castle is 6 miles away and is well worth the trip for its myths and legends as well as its stunning views from the grounds out towards the Farne Islands, famous for being home to wildlife including puffins and seals.

We had a relaxing week in this lovely cottage and will definitely return. It's well equipped and very comfortable with lots of options for relaxing and dining. A secure, enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs. Great location - only a couple of minute's walk to the beach and main shop. Some relaxing garden chairs would be a welcome addition (thereRead more were benches and a table but it's nice to properly relax when you're on holiday). Hide

Great location near beach and cafes (The Courtyard being our favourite). Walks up and won the coast with buses back to Beadnell. Easy access to Newcastle and Hadrian's Wall. Clean and well-equipped house in an excellent location. Walking distance to beach, local shop and two brilliant eating places. We are looking at coming again next year as one of our group was unfit to travel this time.

The cottage was very well equipped. There was nothing we needed. Location absolutely perfect for the beach and coastal walks. Didn't need to use the car during our stay. Pub (Craster Arms)within walking distance and food excellent.

The cottage was lovely and very well laid out. Bedrooms were roomy and good that teenagers could be upstairs leaving downstairs to us. Conservatory was a boon while football was on which I and granddaughter did not want to watch. Ideally placed for village, local eating spots and the beach. Peaceful location.
