The village overlooks the southern stretch of the magical lake of Ullswater and has a fabulous choice of pet-friendly pubs, cafes and shops. There are miles of unforgettable walks nearby, perfect for energetic dogs and their owners, with popular destinations including Lanty’s Tarn (2 miles), Aira Force Waterfall (3 miles) and Heughscar Hill (10.5 miles). The beautiful lake of Windermere is to the south (13 miles).
