Very comfortable cottage in a lovely location. Agents promptly provided missing cafetire when requested. Hot tub was a bonus in the pretty walled garden. Slightly unusual bedroom ceiling beam made getting in and out of bed a bit tricky on one side, not easy for anyone with mobility issues. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic cottage in a lovely location with a bonus hot tub. Maybe take sliders or flip-flops to go across gravel to hot tub. Would definately stay again. Thank you.

Its in a nice location with a good sized garden. Beds are clean and comfortable. The cottage is tired and in need of some work and a deep clean.

The cottage's location is perfect if you like peace and quiet (like us) and close enough to local tourist spots like Alnwick to really well suit. We took advantage of the spa tub every day and it was blissful

The cottage was lovely, beds very comfortable and rooms warm. There was no firewood provided as stated and lack of cooking pots in the kitchen. Overall we had a lovely weekend.

If you like cooking you will be disappointed by the very limited range of pots and pans etc. Also there are no mirrors in the bathrooms, which makes wet shaving very difficult (no electric razor points either). Clean, warm and comfortable but no free pack of logs as advertised. The back door is tricky to lock and the front door had a huge puddle ouRead moretside it so we couldn't use it. Advertised as luxury but don't be fooled - yes, it has a hot tub and 3 huge TVs but there are many things it lacks. Hide

The cottage is a beautiful old house which has been upgraded to a high standard, it was extremely clean and very comfortable. However, it needs some maintenance to keep the standard set. Also there are no mirrors in bathrooms to enable shaving and contact lense application

Lovely cosy cottage but needs a few essentials. Kitchen equipment is quite limited, no mirrors in the bathrooms, shower head doesnt fit in cradle properly , no hooks to hang towels. The outside furniture isnt suitable to support eating outside although appreciate this is probably a rare requirement

Great cottage and in a location that suited us perfectly with all the places in which we were interested handily nearby. Very quiet countryside and that was just what we and our 4 legged friend wanted. Within 15 minutes drive there are plenty of places to go eat, drink and pick up groceries. All in all, a wonderful destination.

Loved the cottage and the garden. The garden had been planted with such love , knowledge and attention, now somewhat overgrown, but with much charm. Open gateway can be blocked for dog owners.

A very comfortable, largely well-equipped cottage in a marvellously tranquil location convenient for Alnwick and with lovely walks nearby. The garden, when it is sunny, is a wonderful outside space, while the smart TVs mean that spending evenings in is never a chore.

Nice remote location, lovely countryside on your doorstep. Even though this was a dog friendly cottage there is no gate so access to the road is available all the time so we couldnt let our dog be free in the garden. The cottage is lovely decorated but a few things could be improved, bin lid broken, only a couple of pots to cook with, a light outsiRead morede near the hot tub and one of the kitchen chairs legs were loose. The log burner was a nice feature but no logs were provided. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a lovely peaceful setting about 15mins drive to Alnwick town centre and supermarkets. Very clean and characterful decor, although could do with a few tweaks to make it perfect. The garden was an added bonus and was a great place to sit in the evenings with a drink listening to the birdsong.
