Surrounded by the Norfolk Coast AONB, overlooking Blakeney Point and just a short walk into the centre of Blakeney, this family home is the ideal spot for a dog-loving family to enjoy a short break. Comfortably sleeping six guests and two canine companions, enjoy relaxing in the cosy lounge, conservatory or rear and front gardens. Tails can be chased, and balls can be fetched whilst you dine alfresco in one of the two enclosed gardens.

This charming detached cottage is instantly welcoming, with well-appointed and cosy rooms spread over two floors. After a long day of coastal dog walks, head into the lounge and curl up on a sofa. There’s space on the rug with the dogs’ names on it, right in front of the warming wood burner - the perfect spot for drying off wet fur. In sunny weather, enjoy morning coffee in the bright conservatory, leaving the doors to the garden open to give your muttley crew the chance to explore the outdoors. Whilst both front and rear gardens are enclosed, any Houdini hounds may find holes in the surrounding hedges, so watch out for escape acts.

Enjoy a morning dog walk around the village of Blakeney, wandering past River Glaven (500 metres), up to the wild National Trust Nature Reserve (1 mile) and up to Blakeney Point (3 miles). Keep an eye out for Norfolk’s resident seals whilst your bow-wows search for squirrels and rabbits to chase. Take the lead and head to nearby village Cley-next-the-Sea (1.5 mile), before embarking on a long seafront walkies on local Cley beach (2.5 miles). Once you’ve exhausted the local walking routes, be sure to visit the city of Norwich, a medieval cathedral city just 28 miles from your doorstep.

We really enjoyed our stay. Waters Reach is spacious for a family and in a perfect location for Blakeney and the coast. It is quite dated but we didnt mind this and would definitely return.

We liked the spaciousness of the cottage which benefits from a conservatory. Location and its quiet setting are winning features.

We had another lovely stay at Waters Rush but I'm not sure we would visit again. The location is the real bonus of this house and it's comfortable. It's not the most modern house and is in need of some TLC, just to make the stay a bit better. The welcome pack was lovely
