This delightful Grade-II listed cottage in the charming, coastal town of Blakeney is the ideal property for families, friends and their canine companions to spend quality time together in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With views of the estuary, salt marshes and sea, you’ll all be keen to get out and enjoy walkies in the surrounding area. As well as the wildlife to spot, shops to browse and array of pubs/cafes to discover on your doorstep, Blakeney also offers a central location from which to access the rest of the North Norfolk Coast.

With plenty of original features, this cottage is traditional and charming, yet the light and neutral decor makes it feel bright and airy. Hard floors downstairs make it easier to clean up dirty pawprints and Fido will love cuddling up with everyone in the comfy lounge of an evening. Next door, you can all enjoy some tasty treats in the country-cottage kitchen/diner. From here, you ascend the stairs to the first floor with its two pretty double bedrooms, a further single room (with pull-out bed) and a bathroom. Outside, you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the south-facing courtyard garden.

Blakeney National Nature Reserve sits within the Norfolk Coast AONB and is host to a variety of migratory birds and its own seal colony, which can be visited on a boat trip from Morston Quay (2 miles). You can admire the scenery and wildlife from the 45-mile long Norfolk Coast Path, connecting Holme-Next-the-Sea (23 miles) in the west to the town of Cromer (13 miles) in the east with its crabbing, historic pier and sandy beach. The path takes in plenty of other seaside towns/villages along its route. Please note: in some places, there may be restrictions on dogs due to nesting birds.

Our family enjoyed the comfortable cottage in its great high street location. It was well set up in every way and apart from the price, I loved it. Thank you to the owners, cleaners and agents for a lovely experience.
