Had a lovely 4 nights stay in this beautiful place. Location is superb if you like peace and quiet. The cottage itself is fantastic, and the history behind it is all very interesting. Couldn't fault anything. Wishing the owners a big thank you from us

Cottage was beautiful and spotless . Just pity about the weather so we couldn't use the outside space as much

What a lovely secluded stay we had. It was so peaceful and tranquil. The cottage was well equipped and clean and the bonus of having sky tv. We would definitely come back

Very comfortable, cosy house to stay in. Loved the peace and quiet, but disappointed we never saw any red squirrels! Cubben House is a good base to explore Wastwater and the coast.

The house was very comfortable with lots of good pots, pans, implements etc in the kitchen. Nice cottage, well equipped but a bit quirky. We found car parking difficult and the lane to the entrance gate is very narrow. Nice garden

A beautiful cottage full of character in a location which is perfect for walks and outdoor activities. The beds and bedding is of high quality and ensures a comfortable sleep for everyone. Several outdoor spaces means you can enjoy the surroundings - we especially enjoyed the bench in the garden sheltered from the wind.
