Keswick is renowned for being the adventure capital of the Lake District, and it is easy to see why when you and your pup try some of the activities on offer. Mountaineering, fell climbing and scenic walks are the just the start of an exciting break, and when your bones grow weary, this cosy apartment is the ideal base for four humans and one well-behaved pub. Situated at the heart of Keswick, it’s well-suited to couples and small families alike.

Forming part of a complex of properties situated within a period house, your apartment is comfortable and stylish with natural light pouring in through the skylights. Fido will love keeping you company as you relax on the sofas watching TV or maybe he’ll observe you from a respectful distance as you rustle up a feast in the contemporary kitchen. There’s a table for enjoying meals and evening drinks, or why not slip outside to dine alfresco on your private balcony. At bedtime, both bedrooms are a delight with one boasting an en-suite and the other making good use of the generous shower room.

Derwentwater is simply breathtaking with its mountainous backdrop, but you’ll discover it from a whole new angle when you and Fido make a splash trying out water sports. Kayaking, canoeing and wild swimming are popular here, or why not join a launch service and embrace the experience whilst keeping your paws dry. The Theatre by the Lake, a cinema and a museum provide further entertainment, plus the foodies amongst you will be unable to resist the range of cafes, pubs and restaurants that welcome furry visitors. Further afield, Bassenthwaite Lake and Ullswater are two excellent destinations for walking, or why not be really daring and take on the challenge of Skiddaw 5 miles away.

Great location for everything in the town. Considering it was cold outside the apartment was cold. I had to sleep with my cardigan on. Also, couches are quite low. Beds are very comfortable.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Keswick with parking ,we stayed here before in warmer months and loved it but having stayed now when it is colder we wouldn't return as you cannot regulate the heating. 2nd bedroom was very warm ,main en-suite bedroom very cold with a flat roof and flush not working properly. Bathroom has nowhere to put toiletriRead morees. Settees very uncomfortable. If these things were put right it would be a perfect location and property .At the moment i cannot recommed this property.

There is ample room in this apartment, main bathroom and bedroom are superb, twin bed room and bathroom are good too, great storage in both. Excellent location, whats not to love.

Love this property. Brilliant location 2 mins from the main market square. Free parking. Quiet & comfortable flat. Outdoor courtyard is really useful when you have a dog. Could perhaps be prettier courtyard but serves a purpose. Would highly recommend & have stayed here 3 times now

Brilliant location, even that would not make me book again though. Poor quality place, not clean, you cannot and I mean this seriously you can NOT sit on the couches. You will try but you will fail very disappointing stay.

The weather was very cold and the heating was set so couldn't be turned up in the evening. Outside area very dangerous as no light and very uneven and broken yard plus steep steps down with no lighting. Light in living room still flickering and has been mentioned for months in book. Bathroom in main bedroom takes hours to clear condensation so rustRead more in there on fittings and shower. Outside furniture all rusted so wouldn't be able to sit out in the summer mornings. Great location, comfy beds , parking available. Toilet in master bedroom en suite doesnt flush very well. Problem with heating again. Otherwise its very good.

The apartment needs updating bathrooms need attention, heating, back yard and sofas also need to be sorted out we ended up laying in the bedroom as the sofas were so uncomfortable and not big enough for four adults !

Outside yard very uneven, in poor condition and no working outside light. So if dog outside in the dark quite dangerous if you have to go outside. Lovely accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything you need. Private outside space a bonus. Also another bonus is the parking permit you get with the accommodation to park in the Methodist Church car park opposite. In a great area for shopping,park etc.

Lovely apartment, 5 minutes walk from town centre. Having somewhere to park really useful. All in all a great place to stay.
