Surrounded by 12 acres of pasture and woodland with an abundance of wildlife, this stunning property makes a fabulous holiday retreat with ample space for 14 guests and up to five energetic canine companions. Featuring a games barn, seven bedrooms, horse stabling and glorious views of the Esk Valley, this spacious property makes a wonderful getaway for exploring the southern part of the Lake District. This fantastic house offers a wonderful getaway for larger families and groups of friends seeking a secluded and tranquil location for a well-earned break or reunion.

This striking property has two light, airy and relaxing lounges: the spacious main lounge/diner has comfortable seating, a TV, exposed beams, a warming wood burner in a stone fireplace, and a lovely dining area. The smaller second lounge also has a wood burner and TV. The fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen/diner is an ideal space for everyone to gather around the rustic dining table to enjoy a fabulous celebratory meal. Reached via two separate staircases, the first-floor accommodation comprises two king-size bedrooms, a double, two twins, two bunk bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms. Outside, the slate patio and picnic area is an ideal spot for some al fresco dining. There are 12 acres of beautiful gardens, pasture and woodland, providing a wonderful space for children to play and for dogs to stretch their legs. You will also find an open games barn where you can play table tennis and table football.

Ravenglass (3 miles) is a pretty, coastal village with plenty of great places to eat and drink, as well as a dog-friendly beach, and the pet-welcoming Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Eskdale has some wonderful walks for dogs and their owners, with attractions including Muncaster Castle (2 miles) and the iconic lake of Wastwater (11 miles).

Large cottage in a reasonable drivable distance to the Lakes and the Seaside. Welcomes dogs, who enjoyed the walks in the land around the property. We had 9 adults and still some bunk beds to spare.

The cottage and the grounds are perfect for adults and children , the pizza oven and the stream and listening and seeing the birds are a bonus .The cottage is well equipped with everything you should need ,the only down side is the colour of the water which after awhile we did get used to but we drank bottled water whilst we were there , There wereRead more 13 of us and two dogs and we had a wonderful time ,it was our second time we have been to stay Hide

We had a great holiday in Eskdale. The house is great. Well maintained and well equipped (I have never been to a house with a coffee grinder). Tom the owner was very supportive and helpful
