Ease your way into the Cornish way of life at this traditional cottage in the pretty parish of Lanteglos. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and welcoming two faithful friends, it’s the ideal retreat for small families or groups of friends who want to spend their days walking the South West Coast Path, and their evenings enjoying BBQ dinners with their loved ones in the peaceful garden. You will love the glorious country views, and your pups will adore stretching out in front of the cottage’s glowing wood burner each evening.

Step inside and discover a light and bright lounge complete with traditional beams and a wood burner. Make yourself at home and then head on through to the kitchen/diner to cook up a feast for your nearest and dearest. Gather everyone around the dining table to eat, or make your way out to the rear garden (accessed via steps), fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco while your pups enjoy the freedom to roam the fully-enclosed garden. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine in the garden, or head indoors to relax in front of the wood burner in the lounge. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find two generously-sized bedrooms with exposed oak beams and fabulous country views upstairs.

Head to the lovely, sheltered cove at Polridmouth Cove Beach for a stroll. It’s dog-friendly all year round and offers some great views of Gribbin Daymark. Or take your pups for some historic walkies at St Catherine’s Castle (3.5 miles), one of a pair of small artillery forts built by Henry VIII to defend Fowey Harbour. Afterwards, you’ll find a nice selection of dog-friendly pubs in the port town of Fowey (0.5 miles from St Catherine’s Castle).

The property was cozy, comfortable and clean, managed to park too every time, opposite, but a little down the road. The road the cottage sits on is a fast road so we always hooked our dog up to the lead every time we opened the front door.

A lovely, warm and cosy cottage in a great location for exploring the River Fowey area. Really well equipped and a nice comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Just a five minute drive to the Boddinick-Fowey Ferry and just a 15 min drive to Polruan and Polperro. Nice and quiet despite the roadside location.

Christopher Cottage was a beautifully renovated cottage in a great location for day trips to many lovely places. We visited Looe, which was great for wandering around the shops and also letting our dog have a run around on the beach on the opposite side of the harbour (make sure you check tide times though). We found the cottage welcoming and cozy, well equipped with an amazing view of the rolling hills out the front. A lovely, secluded terraced garden can be enjoyed behind the cottage. It's close to many beautiful places to visit by car and there are some walks through the narrow lanes to enjoy too. Parking available across the road from the cottage.

We had a fantastic holiday at Christopher Cottage - we didn't want to leave! It's a lovely, bright, airy cottage with comfy bedrooms and a sunny garden. Lots of interesting books to read. The road can be noisy but during the night it's a really quiet location. You can reach lots of attractions within 30 minutes - we recommend The Eden Project, PineRead moretum Gardens, Restormel Castle and Talland Bay. We had an amazing time in Cornwall - thank you. Hide

Great cottage, well equipped, comfortable and very clean. As per the details, it is right on the road so needed to be careful with the dog. It is a quietish road but the traffic does go past very quick! The garden is safe for dogs but the stairs are steep and quite slippy when damp. A good few footpaths from the cottage, especially the walk down byRead more the river in to Pont. Hide
