Elevated above Lake Windermere, escape to this incredible holiday home at the heart of the Lake District with your whole pack, four-pawed pals included. A tail-wagging base for your whole group to call their own, the property sleeps eight guests and two dogs in space and comfort. The surrounding National Park offers an abundance of walkies routes, wildlife to sniff out and sticks to fetch for furry friends of all shapes and sizes, and there’s also plenty of appeal for the human members of the pack, too.
Have a ball in the contemporary living space; at one side of the room, you’ll notice French doors affording incredible Lake Windermere views. Step through onto the balcony with seating and a gas BBQ, an alfresco space to sit whilst your pups peacefully sniff around. Back inside, allow yourselves to relax in the lounge/kitchen/diner, a space with comfortable seating set opposite a wood burner and a Smart TV for those restful nights in. Elsewhere in the property, a large garage features plenty of space for dogs to get a good wipe down and clean off, as well as laundry facilities for used doggie towels. Completing the property, discover four bedrooms and a generous selection of five bathrooms – please note there are a few steps within the property.
Spend time getting to know Bowness (2 miles) and Windermere (3.5 miles), as well as the many mighty mountains and peaks that surround the lake. The edge of Lake Windermere is just a few metres away, and you can let Rover lead the way on an easy lakeside hike or head to the nearest launch (1.5 miles) to embark on pet-friendly boat trips on the water. Take the passenger ferry over to Far Sawrey and hike Claife Heights (3.5 miles), appreciating the view of the lake from an even higher elevated position.
