With a private garden, it also enjoys a leafy trail down to the water, where there is a wild swimming spot that is shared with others staying close by and where your four-legged friends can dip their paws in the cool water.

Light the wood burner in here and watch them stretch out for a well-earned rest, while you find something to enjoy on the TV with Netflix, before dinner. Head into the kitchen to feed all members of your party and find everything you need in here to prepare tasty treats with the fresh, local produce you have picked up on your excursions. Find you have a ground-floor WC and that the family bathroom is on the first floor, together with the bedrooms. These include a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and two twins. Take the pups out for a woodland stroll in the morning. Enjoy relaxing out here during the day too, while your furry friends soak up the sunshine; sizzle supper on the BBQ in the evening. Cottage in lovely place not far from lake edge. Ideal for kayaking. But many issues. Needs general update. Carpets dirty especially living room. Fridge freezer rusty and not cleaned properly. Kitchen counter top broken and mouldy around sink. Dishwasher not working. Showers are too hot or too cold. Had to clean items s in kitchen before use, especiRead moreally glasses. Obvious that between visits cleaning is really poor. Mess under one of the beds was shocking. Plenty of photos sent to complaints. Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the South Lakes. We loved the walk down to the private beach on the lakeshore and the kids had fun playing in the woodland. We especially liked Ulverston with its independent shops, which is a short drive away.

A lovely cosy home from home cottage. It is very well equipped with everything you need for an easy and relaxing holiday. We had a fab time and didnt want to come home! Lots of walks from the door and Coniston is a good location for visiting the southern Lakeland area.

We had a wonderful holiday at Blea Brow. Everything you need is supplied, very comfortable accomodation. We are a family of five adults and a dog and had a wonderful time. The accommodation and area was perfect for our needs, an added bonus of the "private beach" where we supped (we did take our own.) We would all definitely return.

Stated lake access was ok but not a great 'beach: area. Patio area had patch of purple 'sludge' in the middle which we had to clean up. Bedrooms were good with comfortable beds. We had a truly wonderful stay at Blea Brows helped by excellent weather! The cottage is perfectly located and it is literally a 2 minute walk to the lake shore where we were able to launch our paddleboards and swim with the dogs. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would love to return!
