Have a ball during your stay with your four-legged friends and up to two other human guests during your stay in the coastal town of Poole. Spend quality time together in the bright and tranquil open-plan living space with coastal colours and pop open a bottle of bubbly while dining alfresco in the pretty cottage garden with an elegant parasol. Explore the nearby beaches, the town’s waterfront eateries and the Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve.

Step inside to find a bright open-plan lounge/diner which has stylish contemporary decor, a feature wall with quirky wallpaper and dual-aspect windows. Put your feet up on the sofa or sink into an armchair while Fido curls up in front of the flame-effect electric fire. Next to this area is a chic dining table with seating for four. Continue into the bright and neutral-toned ‘U’-shaped kitchen with gloss cabinets and sparkling surfaces. There is also a utility room on the ground floor. Upstairs is a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a king-size and single. Outside is a garden with a lawn, patio and furniture.

Set tails wagging on an adventure at the Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (12.5 miles) where you can find scenic walking trails and visit the Old Harry Rocks (7 miles).

A very well appointed, comfortable cottage. No problems with noise from the road. Pleasant garden to sit out in. The owner has obviously taken the time to anticipate guests needs to include the provision of washing up liquid, clothes wash and such like. The stairs are quite steep and the treads narrow, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We had a really enjoyable week. Hide

A lovely appointed, exceptionally equipped property. Parking a bit tricky, hubby did damage car. More road noise than home but generally quieter road than the rest of busy Poole! Takeaway options 10 mins walk away as is general store, gorgeous park a mere 5 mins walk further on. So much to do but for nature lovers, Brownsea Island is a must.
