Stunning stunning place. Absolutely blown away when we walked in. Everything there for self catering and a handful of dishwasher tablets / milk and biscuits left for us. Beautiful quality bedsheets and towels and a lovely large boot room with blankets and beds for the dogs. Lovely big sofas to sprawl out on of an evening with human blankets tRead moreo snuggle under. Setting is to die for. The woods absolutely full of blue bells during our stay - utterly gorgeous! Zip wire kept little ones entertained for hours but watch the nettles. The gentleman in the main building was super friendly and let us use the tennis courts- again - kept the children well entertained. A little tired in places - could do with a bit of TLC in some areas but so so pretty. If you are looking for somewhere with lots going on - dont go. If youre looking for nature / beautiful setting and stunning building with space to stretch out- get here - I doubt theres anywhere better! Utterly beautiful and definitely would recommend. Hide

Pros - beautiful property with great space set in peaceful and lovely grounds. Good variety of kitchen equipment and utensils. 2 large good stainless steel pans. Good large fridgefreezer. Beautiful property, a converted stable block, loads of space and a high standard of furniture and equipment. Definitely worth a visit. We visited Beamish museum and Chesters Roman fort, both worth st least a day out.

The conversion of the Stables has been done extremely well. It is full of character. Lots of varied seating throughout the lounge and kitchen. Nice areas for socialising with family. The setting and area of Eachwick is very peaceful. Right in the countryside of Northumberland. It is about 20 minutes driving to centre of Newcastle.

We loved our time but the house is showing signs of wear and tear. Half of the oven wasn't functional & the hot plate needs replaced. There was a lovely hamper but I thought washing up liquid would be included and it wasn't. The dishcloths weren't the cleanest and only 4 dishwasher tabs provided, it isn't enough for a large group. Lovely homely cottage, relaxed and comfortable. We were a big group so would have been nice to have a separate toilet downstairs rather than via a bedroom en-suite and more evenly sized bedrooms.
