Step inside and find yourself in the welcoming open-plan living space with a mix of contemporary decor and home comforts – like warming rugs and pretty pictures hanging on the walls. To one side of this space is a one-walled kitchen with glossy cabinets and farm-house-style wooden surface tops. Next to this is a chic dining table and chair set. Continue into the lounge area with two plump sofas and a warming wood burner which Fido can curl up in front of. Outside is a patio area with seating, a BBQ plus a shed with storage space.
During your stay on the outskirts of the village of Shaldon, you can start your day with a stroll along the River Teign into the centre of the village where you’ll find a bakery, canine-welcoming pubs, cafes and a botanical garden with a castle (within 1 mile). Continue towards the seafront to find the dog-friendly Ness Cove Beach (1.5 miles) which is backed by rich red cliffs. From here you can follow the South West Coast Path all the way to Maidencombe (3 miles), past 11 secluded coves.
