This welcoming holiday home sits proudly in the centre of Amble, within easy reach of its picturesque harbour, woof-friendly beach, and fabulous array of independent shops and eateries. The area is a haven for walkers and four-pawed explorers, with the dramatic Northumberland Coast Path passing through the town. At the end of the day, enjoy a family BBQ or an evening of fun in the games room.

An inviting hallway, with space for storing dog-walking attire, welcomes you into this bright and airy abode. From here, move through to the beautiful lounge, which has comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV. On chilly evenings, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy dozing spot for your furry chums. Rustle up tasty dishes in the stylish kitchen, and come together for dinner parties in the formal dining room. This room also has a little reading nook, for curling up with your favourite book after a long walk with the hounds. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs, along with a family bathroom and a stylish shower room. The final bedroom is located on the second floor, enjoying views of the seafront. Outside, you’ll find a games room in the garage, with a pool table, table tennis, and darts.

Amble is a vibrant coastal town, with plenty to see and do. Enjoy walkies around the harbour, browsing the wooden retail pods, or head down to the sandy, paw-friendly beach for a picnic and a paddle in the sea. The town has an excellent array of woof-welcoming eateries, many showcasing local produce and seafood. Just 1 mile away is the quaint village of Warkworth, where you and the woofers can explore the castle and hermitage, or slightly further along the coast is the much-loved village of Bamburgh (25.5 miles).

  • 4 bedrooms - 1 super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request), 2 doubles, 1 twin
  • 2 bathrooms - 1 with shower over bath and WC, 1 with shower and WC
  • Separate downstairs WC
  • Electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, (an initial supply of pods is provided), and washer/dryer
  • Picnic hamper and picnic backpack available during your stay

  • Smart TV in the lounge and a TV in one bedroom, bookswap, X-Box and a selection of games
  • Games room with table tennis, pool table, darts, and seating (this room is not heated)

  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00
  • 3 dogs allowed. Additional charges may apply

A really great house which quickly became a home from home. We were 7 people aged 58-77 and the house was perfect for us, plenty of space. It had everything we needed and more. We originally come from Amble, but now live in Milton Keynes, Swindon, Inverness and the Isle of Skye. While we were there we invited family still living in Amble to a get Read moretogether. It worked great with the younger family members (all in their 20s, 30s and 40s) in the games room making great use of the pool table, playing table tennis, etc. The house is in a great location, very close to the shops but also with great views of the river, marina, over to Warkworth and the castle. There's also a grassed area perfect for dog walking, we had two dogs with us. We would definitely recommend this house and Amble for a great place to stay. Hide
