After enjoying a meal cooked in the range-style oven, play cards at the dining table or settle back in the lounge area to watch the Smart TV and stretch out beside the warming wood burner. Readymoney Cove is within a mile of the property, with a sandy beach and rock pools to sniff out. There’s a seasonal dog ban here, but if you travel 4 miles down the coast to Polridmouth Cove, Fido will be able to feel the sand between his paws all year round. For a different experience, scamper aboard the passenger ferry that runs across the estuary to Polruan or take another ferry to the village of Mevagissey for a spot of lunch in a pub that welcomes canine seafarers. Another fantastic family day can be enjoyed at the world-famous Eden Project (6.5 miles).
