Delve into the mysterious history of Corfe Castle and choose this attractive cottage at the heart of this iconic Dorset village. You’ll have exciting prospects for walks in every direction whether you are tempted by the rolling countryside or by the rugged coastline just 5 miles away. Return with armfuls of local produce and sizzle up a special supper on the BBQ, slipping a few treats to your pup as you and your group of five humans and one hound relax and unwind.

Single-storey and spacious, your abode opens into a hallway with storage for boots and shoes before welcoming you into a stylish lounge/diner primed for relaxing. Sink back into the sofas with Fido at your feet, catching up on your favourite shows and toasting each other at the table over tall glasses of something delicious. The kitchen is just down the hall and is a contemporary treasure trove of gadgets and appliances including a handy Nespresso machine for that all-important caffeine fix. All three bedrooms are a treat after a busy day, especially following a soak in the bathroom. Your pampered pup will feel right at home too thanks to the thoughtful provision of dog bowls and toys, and the garden has ample space for him to stretch all four limbs.

Far from quiet and quintessential, the village of Corfe is steeped in history as evidenced by the towering remains of the castle that looms over the village. A steam railway puffs along the tracks to Swanage, 5 miles away, providing a seaside day trip with traditional amusements. The intrepid explorers among you will appreciate Corfe Castle Common with its winding footpaths, but the coast path is worth an explore too from the vantage point of Kimmeridge, a fossil hunter’s paradise, 5 miles away.

Perfectly located for most things to go and see, shops not to far away at all. Peacefully quiet which was really nice. Very good size rooms with comfortable beds which is a bonus. TV with all channels including a fire stick so plenty to watch in the evenings.

Lovely, well kept and well-equipped cottage with everything you need. The location is quite and yet within easy reach of Swanage, Studland, Kimmeridge and of course Corfe Castle making it a great base to explore the area without spending lots of time in the car.
