Saundersfoot is a wonderful combination of sandy beaches, taste-bud-tantalising eateries and a charming harbour with gently bobbing boats, making this a top dog destination for your sea pup to settle down and sniff the salty air. This family-friendly abode is stylish and caters for packs of four humans and two hounds, boasting a large garden for letting off steam and ample space for a snug basket.

Whether you are cuddling up on the sofas to watch a film or gathering at the table for a fabulous feast, the property is styled with quality time in mind. Fido can snooze at his leisure in the lounge and wait for morsels under the table, and in the morning the enclosed garden is a playground for different sights and smells. On the nights you fancy a break from cooking you’ll be within easy reach of dog-friendly eateries, or why not pick up a takeaway and dish up in the garden. There’s even a BBQ for an extra special supper. Two delightful bedrooms boast an underlying nautical theme, and the bathroom is a treat for soaking weary paws.

Saundersfoot Beach is divided into different sections to allow furry visitors all year round with the exception of the southern half of the golden sandy shoreline. Frolic in the waves and fetch sticks to your heart’s content and let the children build sandcastles and explore rock pools. Try crabbing at the harbour or take to the coastal path for an exhilarating walk with a view and you may even spot a basking seal on the rocks below. Sea Safaris and Boat trips to Caldey Island are great fun for all the family, and there are opportunities for the pooch to join you too.

Loved the area, disappointing cottage. Renovated in 23, it seemed tired but was warm & comfortable. En-suite had a loose toilet seat, toilet roll holder & door handle. The bed had old, scratchy bed sheets. The garden was not secure (dog got through). Cooking was a pain due to old oven with no manual and worn illegible decals and the tiniest grill pRead morean ever. The fridge was tiny. The wooden floor was cracked by the step into the lounge and by the kitchen door both of which moved when trodden on. Hide

Stayed with our son 's family and 2 dogs. The set up was perfect. They had upstairs to themselves whilst my husband and I had the downstairs bedroom with ensuite. Ideally located in a quiet area. Only 15 mins walk to beach and centre of Saundersfoot which was ideal. Loved the seaside themed decor and kitchen very well equipped. Plenty of space for Read more4 adults and teenager. Peaceful, enclosed garden which was great for the dogs and a quiet read. Bottle of wine and bara brith was much appreciated. Hide

The house and facilities clean, comfortable and adequate. We found the entrance steps a little steep and a hand rail would have been useful as would a grab rail in the shower and bathroom. The fence in the garden needs attention as the dog next is definitely not friendly as our dog found but the local cats make up!! The walk to the village is okay Read morefor most walkers who are nimble footed but the footpaths are narrow and steep and some would find this quite difficult. Saundersfoot is lovely. Hide

We were overall disappointed with the condition of the property. It wasnt very clean and was poorly equipped. On the plus side the location was good to visit the area and walk into Saundersfoot.

Comfortable, roomy cottage. All kitchen equipment provided, although adding a small freezer (or fridge/freezer) would have been helpful. Great location- walking distance to the sea front, and two minutes walk to the bus-stops. Off street parking & the rear garden catches the late afternoon sun.

Lovely house, very clean and comfy beds. The kettle didn't work and the owners got a new one sorted.

Good sized cottage in a residential area. Lots of building work next door and in the street (including a John Deere tractor and trailer). Nice garden with small BBQ. Somewhat further to walk to town than we expected despite reading the reviews. However we enjoyed our family holiday.
