After a long walk with the pup, return to your cosy hideaway to snuggle in front of the wood burner or enjoy a glass of wine in the shared courtyard.

Dine together at the magnificent oak dining table, before sharing a bottle of wine in the cosy lounge area. Play board games together or watch TV, whilst Fido stretches out in front of the wood burner. Upstairs, you’ll find the two beautiful bedrooms: a king-size and a super-king-size. The outdoor area is shared and has a patio where you can dine alfresco during summer months.
Wander into the centre of Grasmere to explore this quaint, picturesque town. Peruse the quirky independent shops (many of which welcome four-pawed visitors) and be sure to pick up one of the town’s iconic gingerbreads. Take it in turns to pop your heads into Dove Cottage, the former home of William Wordsworth, before heading down to the lake for a peaceful walk or a spot of wild swimming. Alternatively, pull on your walking boots and hike to the top of Loughrigg Fell for stunning views across the National Park.
