Nestled in the delightful village of Rothbury, this romantic rural retreat is a great escape from the routine of everyday life. With views of the valley and a roaring wood burner to keep you toasty, settle down in style and enjoy time spent together. Welcoming those with four legs and tufty paws, make sure you arrive with tasty treats in tow to keep everyone content and stop tummies from rumbling.

Step inside to the hub of the house, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Creating a welcoming atmosphere are the exposed beams, crackling wood burner and large doors which let the natural light flood inside. Snuggle up on the cosy sofas whilst giving furry tummies a regular tickle and lose yourself in a good book. Head to the sleek kitchen area to showcase your culinary skills and serve up a storm at the table. Tuck in and then take a glass of something cold outside to the patio area where you can sip beneath the stars. A single-storey property, the bedroom is located on the ground floor and is treated to an en-suite. The king-size bed invites you to rest your head and close your eyes before waking to enjoy a soak in the bath or a rinse in the shower. There is off-road parking for one car.

Head into the local village of Rothbury for a yummy bite to eat, a browse of the shops and a peek in the galleries. Just 13.5 miles away, the majestic Alnwick Castle and Gardens await discovery – dogs are welcome in the pastures behind the castle. Uncover the fascinating history before enjoying a tasty snack in one of the on-site eateries.
