Keswick (2 miles) is home to plenty of dog-friendly attractions including the Puzzling Place and the Derwent Pencil Museum. Dogs are also welcome to explore the grounds of Mirehouse on the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake (5 miles), Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum (6.5 miles) and Whinlatter Forest Park (3.5 miles).
