The largest bedroom also has access via a historic winding staircase, adding to the cottage’s character. A spacious bathroom with a deep tub awaits for soaking away the day. The enclosed lawned garden is ideal for energetic pups and children, with direct, road-free access to the village recreation ground. A suntrap patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ invites relaxed evenings under the stars. Private parking for three cars and an electric car charging point complete the setup.

A short drive away, Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles) and Holkham Beach (9 miles) offer miles of sandy shoreline for joyful romps, while Holkham Hall's vast parkland awaits inquisitive canines. For nature lovers, the Holkham National Nature Reserve and Cley Marshes (both within 9 miles) provide wonderful wildlife-spotting opportunities where Fido can join you on the lead in certain areas. If you fancy a boat trip, Blakeney (7 miles) is the gateway to seal-watching excursions, with some operators welcoming well-behaved hounds onboard. The nearby market town of Holt (8 miles) is another gem, offering shops and galleries alongside dog-friendly pubs and cafes.

We had a really nice time at Hollyhocks and would strongly recommend it. One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. The welcome guide was superbly written - just what we needed to know. The house was also really well and thoughtfully equipped. We also loved the look and feel, wooden beams etc. We were lucky with the weather but would most definiRead moretely return after a really enjoyable stay. Hide

What a fantastic cottage equipped with everything to provide a relaxing holiday. Lots of 'bells and whistles' made this cottage stand out from the crowd! Very dog friendly and well located to visit all our favourite places! We will return!

A great place to stay to explore the north Norfolk area. The cottage had everything you could ever possibly need and was a relaxing and comfy stay. The enclosed garden was great for our little dog. I would recommend and we would stay again in the future.

A great cottage for multi-generation / family getaway. Perfect location for all North Norfolk coastal locations and nearby towns. The cottage had everything we needed and more, including toys that our baby loved playing with. A lovely home from home.

Our stay at Hollyhocks Cottage really was so special. The cottage is beautiful, and the attention to detail throughout the property is great. Anna and Jonathan couldn't have been more helpful as hosts! They were always on hand if we had any questions, and the property is very very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen. Not only does the cottagRead moree look lovely, but it's comfortable and cosy too... Without a doubt we would stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay! Hide

That there were books and toys for our 18month granddaughter was wonderful! And the stair gate was very useful. Thank you!
