With five beautifully styled bedrooms, this is the perfect spot for large groups to relax and explore the stunning landscapes or simply toast the paws in front of the wood burner and play ball games in the expansive, private garden.

Step inside this characterful holiday home and be greeted by a bright and airy conservatory inviting in plenty of natural light. The cosy lounge is a lovely space to unwind while your canine companion snoozes by the fire. The traditional country-style kitchen has everything you need to whip up hearty meals, and the rustic dining table is ideal for gathering everyone together. For those with a competitive streak, the games area with a pool table promises plenty of fun-filled evenings. Convenience is key, with a downstairs shower room featuring a steam/hydropower shower alongside a utility/cloakroom, and there’s even a dedicated shower for muddy paws. Upstairs, you’ll find five beautifully designed bedrooms. Choose from a king-size room, a super-king-size zip-and-link, a double, a triple with three single beds, and a cosy single. A family bathroom and an additional shower room complete this spacious retreat. Head outside to soak up the panoramic countryside views from the large patio garden. Fire up the BBQ for an al fresco feast while your four-pawed friend stretches out on the lawn, or gather around the fire pit on cooler evenings with a glass of something warming. Private parking for three cars is provided.

Venture into the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells and enjoy a tail-wagging walk around the lake. The charming market town of Builth Wells (7 miles) is also well worth a visit. For a glimpse into the area's rich past, head 10 miles to Cefnllys Castle and St Michael’s Church, where the ruins of a 13th-century castle and a medieval church transport you and your history hound back in time. If you’re looking for scenic walks with your four-legged adventurer, the breathtaking Elan Valley (15 miles) offers endless trails through spectacular landscapes.

We loved our stay at Llansantffraed house. Loads of room for our party of 5 adults and 4 children. The views are amazing. WiFi wasnt reliable but we worked round that. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Really lovely place to stay.

We were on a family trip of 9 adults and 2 dogs. The house was perfect for our needs, with 5 bedrooms with various set-ups. One of the double rooms is separate from the rest of the house and has its own ensuite which is accessed through the kitchen, ideal for anyone who wants complete privacy. The rest of the bedrooms share a landing and are roomRead morey, bright and have everything you need during your stay. As well as the bathroom on 1st floor, there is a separate shower room which is great. The kitchen had everything you could need, with lots of everything cutlery, crockery and cooking wise. There are games and things to do for rainy days or just chilling. The outside space is also brilliant we had 5 cars between us and we were all able to park. The gardens and surrounding views are beautiful. The dogs loved running around and once the main gate was closed, the garden was completely enclosed. There is even a dog shower cubicle just beyond the utility room, which was a real bonus. We managed to lock ourselves out during our stay, but the lovely owner came to the rescue and got us back indoors very quickly. The house is a lovely home away from home and we have all said we would definitely consider staying here again. Hide

We had a lovely stay with friends in this beautiful house. Very well equipped, and surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family. I have fed back to the owners that a floor plan would have been handy, as one of the double bedrooms is above the kitchen and separate from the others (could be an issue foRead morer those with young children who dont want to be far from their parents). Absolutely amazing house, perfect for our family of 10. Beautifully decorated, wonderful views across the valley, two lounges, log burners, fabulous oven, we couldn't have asked for more, and will be back next year.
