Situated 3 miles from Pickering, where you can shop, dine out, walk through the woods or see the castle. You can catch the steam train from here that will take you 23.5 miles through spectacular North York Moors scenery to Whitby. While in Whitby, spend time on the beach and explore the historic town, climbing up the 199 steps to the famous abbey ruins. Plan a trip to Rievaulx Abbey, 16 miles away, where you can take in the picturesque views and wander the ruins of a Cistercian abbey.  

Step inside from the enclosed garden and into the welcoming lounge, where you’ll find cosy sofas, exposed oak beams, countryside views, a smart TV, and a crackling wood burner, ideal for relaxing evenings in. Cottage was lovely, very relaxing, although the trek to get to the cottage was a bit bumpy!!!
